Job description

Job Summary

Duke Rentals is seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic at our Appleton, WI location. This role includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and ensuring equipment meets safety and manufacturer standards.

PAY: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour STARTING - Based on Experience
Bonus programs available!

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday โ€“ Friday
  • Overtime as needed

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and machinery
  • Ability to operate a variety of aerial lift equipment & related tools
  • Service hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA and manufacturer standards
  • Maintain service records and documentation
  • Coordinate repairs with shop supervisor and parts department
  • Operate company service vehicle safely

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with clean MVR
  • 3 years of experience in equipment repair or mechanical service
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and on a team

Physical Requirements

  • Working in indoor and outdoor environments
  • Exposure to shop chemicals, grease, oils, and equipment noise
  • Lifting up to 100lbs occasionally
  • Climbing, kneeling, bending, & standing for extended periods
