CDL A Team Truck Driver - Out and Back

Compensation

  • Average Annual Pay: $85,000 per driver
    • Stable pay starting at $1,593 per driver/ week after initial training (includes delivery premium)
    • Eligible for increase to $1,655 per driver/ week after 6 months (based on performance)
  • $5,000 transition bonus

Home Time, Route, & Schedule 

  • 2 to 4 days of home time each week
  • Always off sundown Friday to sundown Saturday
  • Cover a dedicated region consisting of the Eastern states
  • Run an average of 2.25 overnight trips per week
  • Unload cases of snack cakes safely and efficiently

Equipment 

  • New Sleeper Freightliners and Volvos
  • Automatic 
  • Only outward facing cameras
  • Dedicated fleet maintenance shop on site
  • Governed speed: 70 mph 

Qualifications 

  • Must be at least 23 years of age  
  • Must have CDL A license 
  • Must have a minimum of 12-months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
  • Required to drive team (established teams welcome – may not be paired together)
  • Ability to unload a trailer containing cases of snack cake products, regularly lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to obtain tanker endorsement within 30 days of employment
  • No DUI/DWIs in the last 6 years 
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen 
  • Drivers must live within 100 miles of Collegedale, TN or be willing to relocate for this position
