About the Role

As a Commercial HVAC Installer, you'll install heating, cooling, and ventilation systems for commercial construction, renovation, and replacement projects throughout the Indianapolis area. Working closely with project managers, field supervisors, and other skilled trades, you'll help ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.

What You'll Do

Install commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, split systems, air handlers, VAV boxes, ductwork, exhaust systems, and related mechanical components. Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications to complete installations accurately and efficiently while following manufacturer guidelines and local building codes.

Assist with equipment placement, system assembly, piping connections, duct installation, startup support, and final system verification. Coordinate daily activities with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to keep projects moving on schedule.

Maintain organized, safe, and professional jobsites while following OSHA regulations and company safety procedures. Help mentor apprentice installers, support team productivity, and contribute to delivering high-quality installations that exceed customer expectations.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking experienced commercial HVAC professionals with at least three years of commercial installation experience. Candidates should have a strong understanding of commercial heating and cooling systems, ductwork installation, mechanical equipment, and construction practices.

Successful candidates will be able to interpret blueprints and construction documents, safely operate installation tools and equipment, troubleshoot installation challenges, and work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience leading installation crews or coordinating work in the field is a plus.

A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required. EPA Certification is preferred, with Universal EPA Certification considered a strong advantage.
