Job description

Sodexo seeks a full-time Registered Dietetic Technician (DTR) for a Lifestyle Coordinator role supporting the Outpatient Bariatric Medicine program at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA.

Remote role with onsite training and 1-2 onsite days monthly; candidates must live within commuting distance. Conduct telehealth bariatric assessments. Must be DTR registered or eligible to sit for the exam within 6 months.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about nutrition, wellness, and making a meaningful impact on patient care. You'll play a vital part in supporting clinical nutrition services, collaborating closely with Registered Dietitians and foodservice teams to deliver high-quality care that aligns with client needs and regulatory standards.


The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team.

Pay Range: $22.44 per hour - $29.03 per hour

Requirements

  • Education Requirement: Associate’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice in a Dietetic Technician Program as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework in a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) as dictated by ACEND, or required coursework and supervised practice in a Certified Dietary Manager Program as dictated by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM)
  • Credentials Requirement: o Meets eligibility requirements for Nutrition & Dietetics Technician, Registered (DTR/NDTR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM) o Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
