Clinical Nutrition Consulting Services, LLC (CNCS) provides expert nutritional support to LTC healthcare facilities, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and optimal outcomes for residents. Our team of Licensed and Registered Dietitians (RDs) works collaboratively with facility staff to implement nutrition programs that are evidence-based and resident-centered. 

Position Summary 

Clinical Nutrition Consulting Services, LLC (CNCS) is seeking a highly motivated Registered Dietetic Technician (DTR) to support and enhance nutrition services in long-term care settings. This is an opportunity for a detail-driven DTR to work alongside Registered Dietitians, influence resident outcomes, and play a critical role in quality improvement and compliance.

What You’ll Do 

  • Assist the Registered Dietitian in completing nutritional screenings, data collection, and documentation  

  • Accurately document in PointClickCare EMR, ensuring timely and compliant entries  

  • Participate in and support weekly Nutrition at Risk (NAR) meetings, including data tracking and follow-up  

  • Conduct nutrition-related audits and quality assurance reviews to ensure regulatory compliance  

  • Monitor residents identified at risk and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team  

  • Support implementation of care plans and nutrition interventions under RD supervision  

  • Maintain organized, accurate, and timely records to support survey readiness

  • Exceptional Time Management: Ability to manage multiple residents, tasks, and deadlines efficiently  

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including typing, EMR navigation, and documentation (PointClickCare preferred)  

  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in assessments, audits, and documentation is critical  

  • Collaboration: Works effectively with RDs and interdisciplinary teams  

  • Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of LTC requirements, documentation standards, and quality expectations  

  • Critical Thinking: Ability to identify risks and escalate concerns appropriately  

Qualifications 

  • Credentialed Registered Dietetic Technician (DTR) – required  

  • Experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred  

  • Familiarity with PointClickCare EMR or similar systems  

  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills  

  • Ability to work independently while supporting a consulting team model
