Job description

This person will be responsible for managing the various aspects of this group home including the business operations, DDS Reporting, DDS licensing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Group Home Management, and is a self-starter who can work independently. (This person must have their own experience of previously running a group home to be eligible for this role.) The successful candidate will be able to lead our DSP while ensuring the proper wellbeing for the individuals who live in the group home. Focus on staffing relationships and PCP for decision making opportunities for the individuals who live in the group home will be an important daily part of the expectations for the individuals to be offered regularly. Budgeting, training and oversight of daily activities are essential functions of the important job of experience required of any manager working for Whole Life.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan of action to drive group home cohesiveness while working towards relational results with staffing for the proper oversight of individuals who live in the group homes. Whole Life Inc. strives for the individuals to lead their best life in a least restrictive environment.
  • Oversee the reporting process from start to finish. Weekly, Monthly paperwork
  • Develop and implement a strategic process plan that includes all scheduling facets and interviewing oversite to keep staffing moving forward for group home stability.
  • Manage all group home manager ensure they are up to date with current trends and dr. appts and managerial needs for empowering a strong united group home
  • Oversee all community activities for the group home to access their own communities regularly.
  • Ensure that all trainings are efficient in achieving their goals to learn and create opportunities for staff to feel fulfilled in their roles.
  • Oversee all manager relationships with management systems for the financial stability (spend downs, typical client funds) and for staffing payroll in a timely fashion for PTO accountability.
  • Oversee field operations for the region (including DA, scheduling, accountability of all staff), including:

DDS Individual service (including PCP relationship building opportunities and service development)- Territory management (including territory planning and management of key group homes)- Individualized (including manager development and staffing oversight)- Inventory management (including stock control and inventory tracking on behalf of IDD)- Product quality control (including group home purchases, quality assurance)- Inventory tracking (including inventory management system use) Creativity and strong communication skills required

  • Technologic proficiency; Moderate. Ability to quickly learn and utilize new software's including Therap and ADP Workforce Now. Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and Outlook (Required)
  • Experience with creating and managing employee schedules, managing ratios, managing employee time off, managing conflict resolution
  • Previous Union experience a plus

Salary Position. MUST be able to work occasional/infrequent weekends, evenings, nights, or holidays if staffing emergencies require
