Job description

Summary

Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walls, double Ts, columns, or beams using a variety of hand and power tools.

Primary responsibilities

  • Rub cement in with sponge-rubber float or burlap.
  • Finish corners by hand
  • Patch holes/cracks on concrete walls
  • Remove/Clean excess concrete from the walls
  • Use grinders on blemishes
  • Drill or Core Drill holes as needed
  • Clean all hardware
  • Cut concrete as indicated on repair orders
  • Climb stacks of walls and TTs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to lift, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
  • Be on Feet 8 to 12 hours shifts
  • Work outside all day in heat or cold
  • Push and Pull 30 lbs.
  • Work overtime and mandatory Saturdays when scheduled
  • Must be clean shaven in order to where aface mask or respiratory
  • Pass Fit Test (mask fits properly & protects adequately) & Pulmonary Function Test (evaluate function of lungs)
