Position Overview
Bone Dry Roofing is seeking a motivated Installation Technician to join our growing solar team. This technician role involves traveling to local job sites in a company-provided truck and assisting with residential and light commercial solar installations. The ideal technician is dependable, safety-focused, and eager to grow within the solar industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install and support residential and commercial solar systems on job sites
  • Assist with mounting, wiring, and testing solar equipment
  • Travel between local work sites using a company-provided vehicle
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow company procedures and safety standards on all solar projects
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and professionally
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams while representing the company positively

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of solar experience required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • Comfortable working outdoors and at heights

Work Environment
  • This position primarily involves working in the field at work sites
  • Must be able to work in varied weather conditions and in a physically demanding environment.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders to determine work needs

Driving
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record that meets company and insurance requirements to travel to and from work sites.
