Position Overview
As a General Laborer you will perform physical labor and necessary onsite job work and material running that will help our Roofing Team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical labor in an outdoor work environment
  • Self-motivated to complete jobs prior to deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
  • Put a Bone Dry sign in the customer's yard.
  • Keep Bone Dry truck clean & in compliance with DOT speculations.
  • Work with Field Project Foreman / Supervisor to pick up needed material for the project before heading to the job site.
  • Work with Field Project Foreman / Supervisor to complete jobs.
  • Help set up tarps, ladders, and safety equipment at the job site.
  • Work with the Production Manager to ensure the ship / yard area at the office is clean & presentable; material is put away.
  • Must possess a current valid driver's license in order to operate any company vehicles.
  • Must comply with all company safety and personnel policies

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to climb ladders and work at heights
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • Travel to work area on daily basis
  • Experience with trailer hauling
  • Ability to work two Saturdays per month during March to November
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.

Work Environment
  • This position primarily involves working in the field at work sites
  • Must be able to work in varied weather conditions and in a physically demanding environment.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders to determine work needs
