Job Summary
The Developer Analyst performs highly complex (senior-level) computer systems analysis and serves as the primary Drupal and WordPress administrator for the agency's website. The role involves web and browser application development, logical database management, documentation, and user training. The analyst also participates in cross-agency initiatives to implement standard web templates and practices. The position works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for independent judgment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and administer the agency's Drupal website and WordPress blogs.
  • Plan, develop, and maintain web and browser applications to support library operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on Drupal development and web management.
  • Participate in cross-agency workgroups for implementing standard web templates and tools.
  • Develop and maintain technical and security documentation.
  • Provide user training for in-house web applications.
  • Attend work regularly in accordance with agency policies.
  • Comply with all applicable agency rules including safety and conduct standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Other Requirements
  • Submit weekly progress reports of tasks completed and in-progress.
  • Ensure timely incident/request resolution.
  • Maintain up-to-date system and network documentation.
  • Report status on risks, challenges, and upcoming maintenance.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
