Job description

Imagine a career where success is measured by the progress of those you serve. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), the TEAP Counselor supports our students through alcohol and drug counseling, prevention education and networking with community resources.
MAIN DUTIES:
• Assess students to determine intervention needs
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
• Follow up on drug testing
• Develop activities to reinforce alcohol and drug-free lifestyle
• Conduct in-service training
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Valid Minnesota Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) certification, two years of related experience, and valid Minnesota driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

PAY AND BENEFITS: $28.85 per hour plus benefits, including 12 paid holidays; paid vacation and sick time; medical, dental and vision insurance; and 401(k) with match
