Job description

Vintun LLC is a small business established under the Native Hawaiian Organization Owned program. Vintun LLC is seeking a Supply Planner to join our rapidly growing team in the Warner Robins, GA area. In this role, you will provide expert item management and supply chain optimization services to ensure the efficient and effective distribution and sustainment of Air Force assets worldwide. You will leverage in-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, repair procedures, logistics processes, and Air Force budgetary systems to manage items, analyze data, and optimize asset distribution such as applying specialized analytical techniques to resolve complex inventory management problems. This position requires a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in Air Force supply chain management and an active Secret security clearance at the time of hire. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Vintun is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in physical and cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, and process improvement and development. This role is an on-site position at Robins AFB.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform requirements identification/development, item management, and requirements execution for assigned Air Force assets.

• Evaluate program efficiency and recommend improvements.

• Validate repair requirements and initiate and manage organic/contract repair arrangements.

• Procure items and maintain documentation in support of supply chain execution.

• Optimize global asset distribution based on customer needs.

• Analyze data to determine optimal demand planning methods and resolve complex inventory problems.

• Prepare reports and briefings for management and customers.

• Assist Government personnel in executing supply planning operations.

• Apply knowledge of logistics planning, programming, and budgeting systems and utilize relevant data systems.

• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and communicate effectively across the enterprise.

• Lead, guide, and motivate personnel, providing total task management and assistance to less-experienced staff in the support area.

• Perform all assigned work independently, delivering logistics support with no more than one validated customer complaint per quarter and no mission impacts.

Education and Experience:

• Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and procedures.

• 8 years of demonstrated relevant experience required.

• Secret Clearance

• Strong communications skills, including the ability to interact efficiently with Military Personnel and Civilians

• Proficient with Microsoft Applications

• Previous experience as an Air Force Supply Planner or in a comparable logistics/supply role

• Strong working knowledge of U.S. Air Force logistics systems and policies

• Skilled in managing procurement, supply planning, and asset visibility tools

• Ability to provide training and leadership within logistics operations teams.

• Personnel performing on this effort must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25lbs. Due to this being a contract position working for the US government all candidates must be a U.S. citizen and pass a criminal and financial background check as well as a drug test.
