They assist in researching drug data, answering inquiries from healthcare professionals, and helping to prepare educational materials. Their role is vital in ensuring safe medication practices and supporting clinical decision-making within hospitals, clinics, or drug information centers. Through this position, interns gain valuable experience in pharmacy practice, medical literature evaluation, and effective communication.
