Cable Drop Bury Technician Global Tech Utilities - Memphis, TN Quick Apply Job Details Full-time | Contract $130 - $160 a day 3 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Computer networking High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Qualifications Must pass industry standard background and driver's license check and drug test The employee is routinely required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 95 lbs Required to lift a 28' fiberglass ladder Body weight of no more than 275 pounds Responsibilities You will be responsible to complete induct service drops to residential and business customers for Comcast Part of the duties will involve restoration of customer's properties Technicians need to be focused on high quality work and possessing great customer skills Identify and clearly mark existing underground cables as directed Identify and mark locations of new cable to be buried underground (bury drops Operate locate and bury drop equipment as required within areas of responsibility Perform a variety of tasks and duties to support both field personnel and our customers Replace pedestals Perform quality assurance checks and complete the paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Wear safety apparel which includes hard hats (where required), safety vests, OSHA approved boots, etc Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $130.00 - $160.00 per day Schedule: 8 hour shift Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Computer networking: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Required) Work Location: Multiple Locations
