  • Program and execute check flights at new sites, verify nominal performance, and confirm the system is ready for safe and reliable commercial use.
  • Collaborate closely with design engineering and service engineering teams to communicate operator and maintainer feedback and influence design improvements or mitigations.
  • Partner with drone system operations and cross-functional engineering disciplines to provide technical analyses and solutions that enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to identify opportunities for system improvement, propose changes, and lead or support implementation of reliability enhancements.
  • Document investigations, troubleshooting steps, and solutions clearly and accurately, and summarize complex system behavior in a way that is accessible to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Travel to drone delivery sites, up to approximately 30% of the time, to provide on-site technical support, perform system investigations, and assist with site launches.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Aviation or aerospace industry experience, particularly in systems that require high reliability and safety.
  • Hands-on experience working with drone systems, including operation, maintenance, or integration.
  • Experience working directly with operations teams to resolve urgent issues in time-sensitive environments.
  • Familiarity with engineering project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile software.
