Job description

Part-Time Driving Instructor

Baystate Driving School – Hanover, MA

Baystate Driving School is looking for reliable, personable individuals to join our team as part-time Driving Instructors.

No previous driving-instructor experience is required. We provide the training needed for the right candidates to become licensed Professional Driving Instructors in Massachusetts.

Join an Experienced, Professional Team

We take pride in the quality and professionalism of our instructors. Our current team includes retired police officers, teachers, coaches, and other experienced professionals who bring patience, maturity, good judgment, and strong communication skills to the job.

We are selective about who we bring onto our team. We're not simply looking to fill a seat — we're looking for quality people who parents can trust and who will represent our school professionally.

If you have a strong work ethic, enjoy working with young people, and would fit well alongside an established team of professionals, we'd like to hear from you.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications
  • Up to $30/hour for experienced, licensed Professional Driving Instructors
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
  • Flexible part-time scheduling
  • Company vehicle provided — you never use your personal vehicle
  • Modern, well-maintained training vehicles equipped with a passenger-side instructor brake and advanced safety technology, including Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert
  • Training provided
  • Established, locally owned driving school

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for people who are dependable, patient, professional.

This can be an excellent opportunity for retirees, teachers and school employees, first responders, public safety professionals, coaches, or anyone looking for a flexible and rewarding part-time job.

Applicants should have a good driving record, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and provide clear instruction to new drivers.

Most lessons are conducted locally in Hanover, Norwell, Scituate, and Cohasset.

If you're looking for flexible part-time work with competitive pay, a 401(k) with employer match, and the opportunity to join a professional team while making a positive impact on young drivers, we'd like to hear from you.
