Military Produce Group has a great opportunity for Class A CDL Truck Drivers who want both.
The primary responsibility of this role is to transport goods safely and efficiently to various destinations within the region. As a Class A Regional CDL Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
All loads running throughout the Southeastern Region.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate and drive commercial motor vehicles, primarily Class A trucks, to transport goods to assigned destinations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and its components to ensure safety and report any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of each trip, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered during transportation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to provide updates on delivery status, delays, or other relevant information.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance and promote safe driving practices.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service by displaying professionalism, courtesy, and respect while interacting with customers during deliveries.
  • Report any accidents, traffic violations, or incidents promptly to the appropriate authorities and company management.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics personnel to facilitate efficient loading and unloading processes.

Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Must have a valid REAL ID Class A commercial driver's license.
  • 1 year of truck driving experience is required.
  • Recent OTR experience required.
  • Safe driving record (no serious traffic violations or patterns of irresponsible driving)
  • Must pass pre-employment DOT physical, background & drug screening.
