The Benton CSD is seeking SUBSTITUTE/TEMPORARY VAN DRIVERS. ย Benton Community is located in east central Iowa in close proximity to Cedar Rapids. ย Benton Community is a large rural school district with 8 communities covering 330 square miles. ย There are currently 18 regular bus routes in the school district.

To drive a school van in Iowa, you'll need to obtain a Class D Chauffers License.ย  You must hold a Valid Iowa driver's license.ย  To get the endorsement you must have a clear driving record for the previous two years andย pass a vision screening test.

Job requirements include:

  • New Driver STOP Class.ย ย 
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
