Job description

Class A CDL Delivery Driver (Temporary) – Overnight Route

Location: Ontario, CA
Job Type: Temporary (5-Week Assignment)
Expected Start Date: August 31
Shift: Overnight, 6:30 PM start (10–12-hour shifts)

We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Delivery Driver for a temporary assignment based out of Ontario, California. This assignment is expected to begin August 31 and run for approximately five weeks.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for consistent overnight work with daily overtime after eight hours.

Job Duties

  • Report to the Ontario, CA distribution facility for a6:30 PM start time.
  • Drive to a local facility to pick up additional freight.
  • Transport freight to Las Vegas, NV and complete an unattended delivery.
  • Meet a relay driver in Henderson, NV to swap trucks.
  • Return to the Ontario facility to complete your shift.

Position Details

  • Overnight schedule
  • 10–12-hour shifts
  • Temporary assignment lasting approximately five weeks
  • Overtime paid after 8 hours worked each day

Freight Handling

This is a touch freight position requiring:

  • Use of a manual pallet jack
  • Moving wheeled product
  • Handling a limited number of loose cases
  • Safe and efficient unloading practices

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
