Job description

Location: Edmonton, AB
Work Period: August 1025, 2026

Great Events Catering, a Calgary-based catering and hospitality company, is hiring Setup & Operations Crew to help prepare, operate, and dismantle hospitality venues for the CPKC Women's Open 2026 in Edmonton.

This is a temporary position running from August 1025, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and dismantle hospitality tents and event spaces
  • Load, unload, and transport equipment and supplies
  • Move tables, chairs, bars, and event furniture
  • Assist with event logistics and operations
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Support the operations team throughout the tournament
Qualifications
  • Previous event setup, warehouse, labour, or operations experience is an asset
  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working long shifts
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • A valid driver's licence is an asset
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
