Job description

A professional instructor at DriveTeam must present material in a manner to improve the knowledge and skill level of each client.  This position requires individual and team presentations to clients in both a classroom setting and during hands-on training.  The instructor will be knowledgeable of the Ohio Revised Code, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, vehicle safety systems, and have the ability to demonstrate this material to DriveTeam clients in a professional manner.  This position will require the instructor to drive a company vehicle.


Qualifications:

·       Over 25 years of age or older

·       Clean Driving record for the past 5 years (less than 4 pts.)

·       Applicants must be able to pass the motor vehicle background check and criminal background check

·       Applicants must be able to pass a DOT Drug Test

·       Teaching or coaching experience preferred, but not required

·       Law enforcement or emergency service experience preferred, but not required

·       Military experience preferred, but not required

·       A Commercial Driver License is preferred, but not required

Minimum Training Requirements (provided by DriveTeam)

·       Basic Instructor Course (8 Hours)

·       Classroom Training (32 Hours)

·       Behind-the-wheel Training (16 Hours)

·       Instructor Assessments (4 Hours)
