This role combines plant delivery with retail merchandising, allowing you to be the face of our brand across wholesale customer sites.Job RequirementsLicense: Valid Class D driver's license (or applicable CDL).Driving Record: Clean 3-year driving record with no major infractions (DUI, reckless driving, etc.).Age Requirement: Must be at least 19 years of age.Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills.Safety: Ability to work safely around conveyor belts.Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and move up to 40 pounds.Stamina: Ability to continuously stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the day.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDeliver wholesale greenhouse products to customer sites in a timely, professional manner.Assist in loading and unloading product carts from the delivery truck.Obtain customer signatures and handle delivery paperwork and logs.Maintain open contact with the routing office regarding schedule updates or delivery changes.Condense plant products as sales occur, remove empty carts, and restock displays with fresh plants.Communicate daily with store personnel to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.Obey all local traffic laws and safely operate vehicles in varying weather conditions.Work within the greenhouse assisting with assembly and plant care during non-delivery times.Schedule & Season DetailsCore Season: Primarily August, September, and November (October focuses on tasks working in the greenhouse).Hours: Typical hours are 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with extended hours required during peak seasonal times.Compensation & BenefitsPay Rate: $19.00 per hour.Earned Paid Time Off (PTO) accrued as you work.Generous Employee Discounts on greenhouse products.Tuition reimbursement opportunities.Year-Round Potential: Full-time, year-round transitions include eligibility for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and Paid Holidays.
