Job description

Transport Driver / Class A CDL Driver
Overman Concrete is looking for a dependable, safety-driven Class A CDL Driver to join our growing team. If you’re
an experienced driver who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a team that values quality, safety, and
reliability, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Transport Driver, you'll be responsible for safely hauling construction equipment, materials, and supplies
between our yard, vendors, and job sites while supporting our field crews to keep projects moving efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, lowboys, and equipment trailers.
  • Transport construction equipment, concrete forms, tools, materials, and supplies to and from job sites.
  • Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials using chains, binders, straps, and other approved securement methods.
  • Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with project managers, superintendents, dispatch, and shop personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials in the yard when transportation duties are complete.

Requirements:
· Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
· Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
· Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience preferred.
· Experience hauling heavy equipment and construction materials preferred.
· Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
· OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
