Job description

Help keep equipment, drivers, and daily operations moving in the right direction.

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator (Night Shift) to help support the daily coordination of equipment and driver assignments in a busy office environment. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while helping operations run smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you will work closely with operations, billing, driver managers, terminal staff, and outside vendors to support safe, accurate, and well-coordinated freight movement.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate equipment and driver assignments to support efficient asset utilization

  • Support safe and effective day-to-day operations

  • Help maximize driver earnings, revenue, and profitability through strong planning and coordination

  • Communicate tank wash needs with outside vendors

  • Coordinate equipment inspections

  • Update load activity, equipment status, and planning records in dispatch and transportation management systems

  • Communicate load information with Driver Managers and terminal staff

  • Coordinate with Billing to support accurate invoicing

  • Assist with onboarding new lanes and customers

  • Maintain planning and resource records

  • Partner with internal teams to coordinate campaign shipments

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we're looking for

  • Dispatch experience preferred

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills

  • Understanding of equipment utilization and allocation

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy

  • Strong communication and coordination skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Tanker industry experience preferred

  • Knowledge of DOT and applicable federal regulations preferred

  • Experience with TMW Ops or similar transportation management systems preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Work environment and physical requirements

This position works primarily in an indoor office environment. The role involves mostly sitting, some walking, minimal lifting up to 20 pounds, and the ability to speak, hear, and see clearly for the responsibilities of the job.
