Manage a board of drivers daily!
An opportunity has opened up to work at Tri-National! We are a Transportation and Logistics company, an employer of choice with a family friendly culture and fast moving environment that is innovative and growing. You would manage your own fleet of drivers by coordinating daily activity, assisting with inquires and work closely with the Customer Service Department. Be able to interconnect in a positive and professional demeanor, while building and retaining relationships with our drivers. *This position would be required to work every 5th weekend in Operations (&fac12; day Saturday and &fac12; day Sunday)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Pre-plan, Coordinate, and Dispatch fleet loads with Drivers
  • Ensure on time pick ups and deliveries to meet our Customer's needs
  • Ensure Driver safety, including DOT compliance, safe working conditions, and maintaining TNi Standards & Policies
  • Assist Drivers with inquiries in regards to availability, mileage, fuel cards, payroll, cash advances, home time requests, and other obstacles throughout the day
  • Assist with other requests made of the Operations Department
  • Document Driver performance, issues and address needs accordingly
  • Guide and assist Drivers through daily obstacles, including breakdowns and needs for roadside assistance

Requirements
  • Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Logistics industry
  • Must possess good communication, interpersonal, proficient computer skills and analytical skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and AS400
  • Looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
