Job description

This position requires a valid drivers license.
Pay Rate: $15 an hour with $2.00 an hour additional shift differential on swing and grave shift
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet guests, provide superior guest service and provide information regarding casino events and property amenities
  • Safely pick up and return guests to their vehicles
  • Drive fleet vehicles (including vans, small shuttle busses, golf carts, and GEM vehicles) transporting guests and team members to various locations on and off property
  • Rent scooters, wheelchairs, and walkers to guests
  • Answer phones, dispatch Island Ride calls by radio
  • Keep vehicles fueled and interiors and exteriors clean
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification Required:
  • Valid class "D" vehicle operator's license

Knowledge and Certification Preferred:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Experience driving small buses, vans, golf carts

Skills Required:
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook) and Windows
  • Cash handling

Abilities Required:
  • Able to work safely and efficiently
  • Able to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
  • Able to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
  • Able to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice
  • Able to serve both internal and external guests
  • Able to safely operate passenger vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions
