Leon Medical Centers Job Opportunity

Are you a cautious driver with the compassion and patience required to work with our elderly patients? Leon Medical Centers is currently seeking someone with your qualities! We pride ourselves in providing exceptional medical services and patient care and want you to join our family. This position requires the ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and/or late afternoon shifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transports the scheduled patients to and from the centers or to and from any other medical facilities.
  • Assists all passengers (including passengers with special needs) in entering and leaving vans
  • Keeps vehicle clean, polished, and in good operating condition.
  • Drives in a safe and alert manner.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be patient in dealing with an elderly population and sympathetic to hearing or vision deficiencies. The individual must also be able to work effectively independently and in a team environment and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • A valid Florida Driver's License
  • Excellent driving record: Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be reviewed prior to the interview.
  • At least one (1) year of experience transporting passengers in a patient/customer-centered atmosphere
