Drip Hydration Rn information

What is a Drip Hydration RN?

A Drip Hydration RN is a registered nurse who specializes in administering intravenous (IV) hydration therapy and vitamin infusions, often in clients’ homes or at designated clinics. Their responsibilities include assessing patient health, preparing and inserting IV lines, monitoring patients during infusions, and providing education about the benefits and risks of IV therapy. These nurses are trained to ensure safe, sterile procedures and often work with wellness companies or concierge medical practices. Their role is crucial in supporting hydration, recovery, and overall wellness for clients seeking these services.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Drip Hydration RN?

To thrive as a Drip Hydration RN, you need a current RN license, strong intravenous (IV) therapy skills, and a solid understanding of fluid and electrolyte balance. Familiarity with mobile health platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and equipment for administering IV drips is essential. Excellent communication, patient education, and the ability to work independently are critical soft skills in this role. These competencies ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered delivery of hydration therapies, often in non-traditional or home-based settings.

What are some common challenges a Drip Hydration RN may encounter when providing in-home IV therapy?

As a Drip Hydration RN, you may face challenges such as managing unpredictable home environments, ensuring proper infection control outside of a clinical setting, and adapting to various patient needs on the spot. You'll often work independently, requiring strong decision-making skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment or patient concerns without immediate on-site support. Excellent communication and organization are essential, as you coordinate appointments, educate patients, and sometimes collaborate remotely with medical directors or other healthcare professionals.

Job description

Are you a passionate RN leader excited to drive proactive wellness, optimize health, and enhance client vitality through education and innovative IV nutrient drips? IV Nutrition is hiring a Clinic Director to lead our two outpatient wellness clinics in Brookfield‑Milwaukee and Kenosha. Your primary focus will be on building and supporting the team, refining protocols and procedures, conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and delivering top‑tier client education in a preventive, proactive health setting. This allows ownership to concentrate on business growth while you handle the clinical backbone.

We emphasize education and empowerment: We do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. We offer IV nutrient drips and wellness injections to optimize and enhance health, educate clients so they can make informed choices, and connect them to functional health providers when appropriate.

Core Responsibilities (Leadership & Operational Focus)
  • Oversee daily operations, staffing, training, and performance across both clinics (including travel between Brookfield‑Milwaukee and Kenosha sites)
  • Develop, audit, and enforce clinical protocols, procedures, and best practices for safe, consistent delivery of IV nutrient drips and wellness injections
  • Hire, onboard, mentor, and evaluate RNs and support staff; build a collaborative, high‑performing team culture
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance, accurate EMR documentation, and unwavering standards of client safety and education
  • Perform occasional client consultations and IV drip procedures (plus injections) to stay hands‑on, maintain expertise, and support the team during peaks
  • Monitor key performance metrics, deliver constructive feedback, resolve issues promptly, and drive continuous improvements
  • Represent IV Nutrition at community events and activations to strengthen relationships and support client growth
Qualifications
  • Active Wisconsin RN license (Associate’s Degree in Nursing minimum; BSN preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience administering IV nutrient drips or vitamin drips (vascular access skills required)
  • 2+ years of healthcare leadership or management experience (clinic, outpatient, or wellness preferred)
  • Proven strengths in team development, protocol oversight, EMR proficiency, and client‑centered care
  • Comfort with multi‑site oversight, occasional travel, and hands‑on clinical support as needed
Compensation & Benefits
  • $70,000–$100,000 total compensation (base salary + performance bonus)
  • Sales Incentives & Tips (yes, tips!)
  • Professional development opportunities and potential for advancement in a growing wellness company
  • Rewarding work in a values‑driven environment that prioritizes humility, passion, integrity, and partnership
Schedule
  • Monday–Friday: 9 AM–7 PM
  • Saturday: 10 AM–6 PM
  • Sunday: 12 PM–5 PM
