Travel RN – MS/IMC Cardiac Stepdown

Assignment Details

  • Block Scheduling: Considered based on unit needs

  • Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a reduced local rate.

Join a 29-bed Cardiac Medical-Surgical/Intermediate Care unit caring for a variety of post-procedural cardiac patients and complex cardiovascular conditions. This unit is ideal for nurses with strong telemetry, cardiac surgery, and cath lab recovery experience.

  • Day Ratio: 1:4
  • Night Ratio: 1:5–6 after 11:00 PM
  • Dedicated Central Telemetry Monitoring
  • Modified Patient Assignment for Charge Nurse

    • Days: Approximately 1:10
    • Evenings: Approximately 1:10–12
    • Nights: Approximately 1:15

Respiratory Therapy

  • RT Available 24/7
  • RT manages:
    • Nebulizers
    • Inhalers
    • CPAP/BiPAP
    • High-Flow Oxygen Therapy
  • RNs responsible for Incentive Spirometry
Floating Requirements
  • Floating may be required based on patient census and staffing needs
  • Assignments will remain within competency and scope of practice
