THE JOB:
As a Promoter for On The Record at Park MGM, you will help drive excitement and attendance for one of Las Vegas' most unique nightlife destinations. Through relationship building, social networking, and strategic promotion, you will connect guests to unforgettable nightlife experiences while growing venue awareness and loyalty. Leveraging your network, social media presence, and passion for hospitality, you will generate guest interest, manage guest lists, and contribute to the energetic atmosphere that makes every night at On The Record a standout experience.
THE STARTING RATE: $13/hr + commission structure
THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Collaborate with sales, promotions and marketing team utilizing interpersonal skills that connect with a range of people inside and outside of the organization.
  • Monitor websites, ticketing systems and social feeds for all event and pricing updates, availability and messaging while communicating effectively in a timely manner to guests and employees on availability and promotions.
  • Adhere to a long-term sales plan for the development of existing and future customer databases, weekly reports with superiors while maintaining and promoting a friendly atmosphere for customers and staff.
  • Complies with minimum requirements on all platforms while marketing & promoting venues, adhering to the constantly evolving day to day schedule, requirements, performance.
  • Distribute venue information internally to all MGM related departments in advance of all events and promotions while working closely with marketing & promotions staff increasing their sales and generating venue revenue.
  • Promote all management approved comps, specials, drink tickets, wristbands, flyers and promotional passes/products to guests and their network of promoters.
  • Attend all applicable trainings, meetings, pre-shifts, check-ins, outreach, promotions with full knowledge of operating hours, staffing, menu selections and pricing, venue availability and is responsible for the hosts knowledge of the same.
  • Comply with marketing & promotions schedules which includes but is not limited to: check ins, office time, meetings, visitations, outreach, work shifts, social media, phone shifts in a timely and efficient manner, follows up with all while constantly reviewing table and guest list reservations updating management.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. Required
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays Required
  • 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience (Experience in customer service, sales, networking or related field) Preferred
