Job description

1 Resource Group is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist with expertise in HBM Line Bore operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precise manual machining tasks with a focus on horizontal boring mills (HBM) and line boring equipment, ensuring component parts meet exact specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set up horizontal boring mills and line boring machines for maintenance, repair, and fabrication of machinery components.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications related to HBM and line bore machining.
  • Perform precise machining operations including drilling, boring, milling, and reaming as required.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to check dimensions and tolerances throughout the machining process.
  • Maintain equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform routine maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and maintenance teams to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality procedures within the shop environment.

Requirements

Qualifications:
