Drilling Data Management Consultant
Location: Houston, Texas (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
As a Solutions Enablement Consultant, your primary role will be to provide expert consultation on our client's Drilling Software & Solutions. You will collaborate with various teams, analyze customer environments to solve system or business problems, and develop and deploy solutions tailored to customer needs. This position requires experience with upstream oil and gas operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consultation on drilling software and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to develop and deploy tailored solutions.
  • Analyze customer environments to identify and solve system or business problems.
  • Manage drilling data effectively.
  • Programming experience with Python or C++ or similar language
  • Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to address client needs.
  • Engage in technical writing and create presentations for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Education: Completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates must have experience with drilling data management and upstream oil and gas operations.
Technical Skills:
  • Depth of experience and hands-on skills in EDM database and OpenWells software.
  • Experience with drilling applications, specifically EDT applications.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Application development experience is preferred.
  • Agile project experience is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
A pay rate in the range of $25.00 to $42.50 per hour is offered for this position.
