Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting the communication needs of students while collaborating with dedicated educators and families. This contract position spans the academic year from August 25 through May 22, 2027, offering 30 hours each week on-site at two closely located schools. Bring your expertise to a caseload of 34 students, making a meaningful difference as you provide direct therapy, oversee student assessments, write IEPs, and coordinate effective support for students’ success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Oregon SLP-CCC license, or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to case manage and coordinate meetings independently
  • Proficiency in assessment, IEP development, and documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable supporting both students and staff, including participation in IEP meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across two adjacent schools
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized goals, and draft IEPs 7–10 days prior to scheduled meetings
  • Serve as primary case manager for your students, maintaining organized records and clear communication
  • Collaborate proactively with teachers, families, and other professionals to foster students’ progress
  • Attend and contribute to all required meetings, including IEPs and interdisciplinary planning sessions
  • Remain self-sufficient in scheduling, documentation, and coordinating support for your caseload
