Solidworks Drafter

Reporting to the Engineering Design Team Leader, the Solidworks Drafter is responsible for preparing or revising technical drawings.
Duties/Responsibilities

  • Generate 3D Equipment Layout Drawings, Piping Drawing, Installation Drawings, and more complex drawings which meet or exceed the customer’s requirements during Bid Phase and Project Management Phase
  • Review customer’s drawings if service is requested by the Proposal Team, to ensure that all the requirements are met to Install the equipment.
  • Maintain standard drawings and conversion from ISO to ANSI, as necessary.
  • Communicate with the customer’s drafting team if requested by the Proposal or Sales Team
  • Coordinate with the Engineering department for the design of Equipment Layout and other complicated drawings.
  • Other related tasks as required related to design and CAD database maintenance.
  • Other duties assigned as necessary in the ordinary course of the operational activities.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Vocational training in drafting
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position or previous internships with relevant Solidworks experience a must;
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
