What you'll do:
The Brass Tacks
  • Responsible for ensuring the building is a safe and secure environment at all times. Maintains a close working relationship with the police and alarm monitoring services
  • Ensures proper building safety and security measures are always followed
  • Maintains up to date information of events, both current and future, occurring in the city and county
  • Answers the telephone in a pleasant and professional manner within three rings
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly desk at all times
  • Responds to all guest's requests in an expeditious manner

The Nitty Gritty
  • Two years related experience and/or training
  • Possess excellent verbal and people skills
  • The ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required to analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Valid driver's license.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Previous experience in security or related field is preferred.
  • Ability to follow established security policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management.
  • Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
  • Strong attention to detail in monitoring hotel assets and documenting activities.
  • Security certification is preferred.
