Job description

Job Opportunity: Anesthesiologist

MedStar Medical Group Anesthesiology, one of the largest anesthesia groups in the DMV/Mid-Atlantic region, is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist to be based with our single-beeper team that covers cases between MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital (sister campuses). The hospital is supported by a long-tenured MDA and CRNA team and fosters a warm, welcoming culture for staff and patients and their families, with a strong commitment to caring for the surrounding community where both campuses are located.

Position Highlights:

  • Home call only (no L&D); 4 weeknights and 1 weekend day (Sa/Su) per month
  • Both medical direction and solo cases
  • Regional interest is a plus; work w/Johns Hopkins residents rotating for regional exp
  • Cases are primarily musculoskeletal (spine, joint, hand, foot/ankle, sports, ortho trauma), plus EP, pain, vascular, cath lab, and GI
  • MedStar Union Memorial - Maryland's premier Hand Trauma site
  • Optional OB shifts available at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, if interested
