Job description

Administrative Assistant needed for our government client in Downtown Baltimore. The Administrative Assistant will provide email, phone and order entry support. One year contract position with possible extension. The non-negotiable pay rate is $15.00 per hour.
Essential Duties:

  • Create emails to clients using mail merge.
  • Tracking invoices, and managing budget.
  • Create new databases via data entry and setting up new projects.
  • Answering phones and providing reliable customer service.
  • Research data in the corresponding system to resolve customer issues according to policies and procedures.
  • Assist with customer inquiries, requests and refunds.


Qualifications:

  • At least six months of Administrative/clerical experience with good attention to detail skills is required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Type at least 40 wpm.
  • Must be able to work from 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
