As VP, Sales - Global Strategic Accounts, you will carry full commercial responsibility for the company's largest and most complex client relationships globally. In this senior sales leadership role, you will focus on driving revenue retention and growth across a defined portfolio of strategic accounts. Using your in-depth understanding of the energy, chemicals, and renewables landscape - you will develop account strategies grounded in the client's own business goals and market context. You will connect client needs to the full breadth of Dow Jones Energy's product and data portfolio, integrating solutions across price reporting, market intelligence, risk, and news to deliver measurable value at the enterprise level. You will lead and motivate multi-disciplined commercial teams. You will also build the frameworks that translate bold account strategy into measurable and scalable execution; ensuring that Dow Jones Energy is positioned as an indispensable partner to the world's most influential energy and commodities organizations.

Operating at the center of global commodity markets, we support critical commercial decisions across oil, gas, power, renewables, and the energy transition.

You Will:
  • Develop and implement strategic accounts plans that will drive revenue growth and retention across for Dow Jones Energy's largest and most complex accounts

  • Implement sales processes, methodologies, and account management framework that will scale to support sustainable growth across the strategic accounts portfolio

  • Provide functional leadership and drive accountability by reviewing strategic account plans, monitoring and managing the account pipeline, tracking progress against plans, and ensuring accurate planning of revenue and expenses

  • Set team direction, focus, and sales initiatives as needed to deliver on commitments

  • Collaborate closely with peers and colleagues across the Editorial, Product, Marketing and Business Development team to share best practices and ensure consistency across the organization

  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all are working towards the strategic customer account's business strategy

  • Identify, coordinate, and deploy resources into customer accounts

  • Work with business leaders to incorporate Strategic clients feedback and analytical insights in the formation of new products and solutions tailored to the needs of the largest energy and commodities organizations

You Have:
  • 15+ years of experience in sales management and sales leadership, with a demonstrated track record managing the large and complex accounts in Energy, Chemicals or Renewables

  • Strong knowledge of the Energy and Chemicals industry and relevant experience selling market data

  • Proven sales leadership to meet and exceed sales targets for a similar size and growth-oriented organization (both revenue and headcount)

  • A proven track record as a decisive, action-oriented leader who has successfully translated bold strategic accounts strategies into measurable execution plans.

  • establishing strong and credible relationships at C-suite and executive levels in largest energy and commodities organizations

  • Proven communication, solution selling, persuasion, negotiation, and collaboration skills at C-suite level

  • Solid account planning and portfolio outcome management

  • Market-validated skills around building, developing, and retaining high-performance teams.

  • working effectively across functions and geographies to assess options, incorporate input, and drive broad agreement around business priorities.
