Part-time

Job description

Zoomies. Belly rubs. A paycheck. Yes, this is a real job and fits around your a flexible schedule.

🐾 Wonder Pups Pet Care is Hiring a Very Specific Breed of Person To join Our Award Winning Pet Sitting Team with availability 4 days a week.

Quick quiz. Do you:
• Double-check the door is locked even though you already know it's locked?
• Notice the one thing that's slightly "off" before anyone else does?
• Show up early out of what can only be described as a moral compulsion?
• Genuinely enjoy running your own route, your own way, without someone hovering over your shoulder?

Congratulations, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

We're a locally owned, award-winning pet sitting and dog walking company in Crestview, Florida, and we're on the hunt for one more Wonder Team member — that very specific type of person who loves animals, follows directions, and doesn't flake. Our clients hand us their house keys and their pets. We take that seriously. We also laugh a lot while doing it.

If you're a student, between chapters, or just someone with energy looking for meaningful part-time work that beats another retail shift, builds real experience, and actually gets you outside instead of under fluorescent lights, you may have just found your next adventure.

🐕 A Day in the Life
No boring shifts. No standing behind a register. You'll drive around Crestview letting yourself into homes to feed, walk, medicate, and shower pets with love while their families are at work or off on vacation. Some days it's a quick breakfast visit before class. Other days it's a full route of walks, litter boxes, and adorable photo updates for pet parents refreshing their phones every five minutes. Either way, you're basically getting paid to hang out with dogs — and yes, the photos are Instagram-worthy.

🐾 What You'll Actually Be Doing
• Keeping Wonder families' homes and pets safe and secure
• Feeding, watering, exercising, and medicating pets (when needed)
• Walking dogs and cleaning up after them — litter boxes included
• Sending detailed, photo-filled visit updates through our app
• Catching small changes in a pet's health or behavior before they become big problems
• Treating every home and every pet like it's your own — even the messy days, even the ones different from what you're used to

We can teach you the tasks — the judgment and follow-through part, though? That's all you. Bring those, and you're exactly the breed of person we're after.

🐾 What You'll Need
• A positive, no-drama attitude
• High school diploma or GED • A clean background check
• A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• A smartphone with an active data plan
• The ability to walk about a mile with a happy (or excited, jumpy, barking) dog
• Comfort working with special needs or nervous animals
• The physical ability to walk, bend, reach, climb stairs, and lift at least 15 lbs
• The ability to work independently and follow written instructions to the letter
• Real availability during breakfast, dinner, and bedtime windows, 3–5 days a week — including weekends and some holidays

🐾 How the Schedule Actually Works
We're not a shift-based job. Your schedule follows our clients' travel plans, so it shifts week to week — mostly breakfast, dinner, and bedtime visit windows, with midday visits added when clients need them. You'll work 3–5 days a week including weekends and some holidays, but these are separate visit windows, not one long shift — so you'll have real time in between to hit class, study, hang out, or just recharge before your next stop.

🐾 The Pay
This is an hourly, part-time role. Most Wonder Team members earn around $300/week or more, plus tips, depending on availability and client demand. No experience needed , we offer on the job training the right person.

Fair warning: our multi step hiring process moves FAST. You'll hear from us quickly at every step, and we'll need quick replies from you too. If you're someone who follows through, you'll fly through it.

Quit pawsing around and apply today. 🐾
