Job Title: Diesel Shop - Parts and Inventory Specialist



Job Description:

Amwaste is seeking a knowledgeable and organized Parts and Inventory Specialist to oversee the parts department in our diesel shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the availability of parts, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.

- Coordinate with suppliers to order parts and negotiate pricing.

- Maintain an organized and efficient parts department, including proper storage and labeling of parts.

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting technicians and mechanics in identifying and sourcing the correct parts.

- Monitor and analyze sales trends to optimize inventory management and reduce excess stock.

- Train and supervise parts department staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Implement and maintain safety protocols within the parts department.

- Manage our Dossier Truck Software 


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in parts management, preferably in the automotive or diesel industry.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

- Knowledge of diesel engine parts and components is a plus.

- Knowledge of Dossier and Trux Systems a plus
