Job description

Overview
The Door Shop Hourly workers assist Door Shop Assemblers in daily operations of manufacturing doors. The position will include assembling doors including cutting heads, casing, and jambs. They also must maintain clean and safe work environment as assigned and required.
Pay Range: $17-$18/hr plus weekly OT
Responsibilities
Working on a Door pre-hanging assembly line and keeping up on routine maintenance of equipment.
Using power saws, air nail guns, staples and other tools needed to prep wood material used to assemble doors.
Safely operate a forklift to assist in moving material to appropriate area of the shop.
Pick and pull production material as needed.
Load, unload, store and package material as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and observe all safety rules posted.
Qualifications
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables and standardized situations.
