Job Overview
Sprinkles is looking for friendly and motivated Retail Team Member to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you’ll be the face of our store, helping customers find their favorite treats, providing excellent service, and supporting our sales goals. If you enjoy engaging with people and have a passion for great products, this could be the perfect fit for you!

We are currently in need of workers for Opening, Mid-Day, and Closing Shifts. Experience working in a retail environment is a plus! Positions are part-time with flexible hours. Candidates must be 18 years or older, and willing to open and/or close the store. Regular store hours are 6AM-3PM Tuesday through Saturday, 7AM-1PM Sunday, and closed on Monday.

Duties

  • Greeting customers warmly and assisting them in selecting their favorite donuts and beverages
  • Provide detailed product information and answer customer questions with enthusiasm
  • Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system
  • Handling cash and credit card payments
  • Packing orders for customers
  • Maintain a clean and inviting shop environment by restocking shelves and cleaning display areas
  • Promote new products or specials to enhance customer experience and boost sales
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during busy hours
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and friendliness
  • Support team members with tasks such as cashiering, stocking, or assisting during busy periods

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred but not required; a positive attitude is key!
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math for accurate transactions a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions
  • A friendly, approachable demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and holidays
