Canine Care Specialist - $16.00/per hour | Full-Time | Fishers, IN
Join the Humane Society for Hamilton County and make every day a difference in a dog's life. As a Canine Care Specialist, you'll provide exceptional care, enrichment, and attention to shelter dogs while helping them find their forever homes.
You will:
  • Feed, water, walk, and enrich dogs daily
  • Keep kennels clean, safe, and low-stress
  • Identify and report health or behavior concerns immediately
  • Assist with meet-and-greets and adoptions
  • Handle dogs humanely and follow all safety protocols

You have:
  • Passion for animals and a commitment to our No-Kill philosophy
  • Experience with canine handling or training (preferred)
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work nights/weekends
