A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DOG CARE ATTENDANT / PACK LEADER

As a Dog Care Attendant / Pack Leader, you play a big role in the success of our dog boarding facility. Your loving attention makes our guests feel at home and our clients feel reassured. You arrive for your full- or part-time shift ready to take on a variety of responsibilities. Whether you're greeting our clients, processing payments, answering the phone, or sending updates, your customer service skills serve you well. So does your bubbly personality, which brings our clients back again and again.

You spend the bulk of your shift with the pups, overseeing a playgroup or working with them individually to acclimate them. Poop is part of your job too, but a little cleanup now and then is worth the chance to spend your workday having fun. It's hard work too. The dogs are lively, and managing multiples requires lots of energy. You wouldn't have it any other way, though. You love that those pups are in good hands while their people are away, and you're so glad that those hands are yours!

As part of the evaluation process a meet and greet will be scheduled for you to come visit us! During this visit we will expose you to our work environment, have you interact with our staff and dogs, and help you to gain a better understanding of what life is like here at 24 Hour Dog Daycare!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DOG CARE ATTENDANT / PACK LEADER

  • Dog lover

  • Open availability, including holidays

  • Proficiency with computers and the phone

  • Ability to perform the physical requirements for the job, including working with 100-lb dogs

Experience with dog care would be a plus. Experience in customer service or cash register use would also be a plus. Are you fun-loving? Do you have excellent customer service skills? Are you motivated and enthusiastic? Can you communicate well so that you can keep our clients updated throughout the day? If yes, you might just be perfect for this animal care position!

WORK SCHEDULE

Both full- and part-time, as well as day, evening, and overnight shifts are available for this animal care position.
