Job description

Dog'on Salon in Whiteland, IN is looking for an energetic, reliable, and dog-loving team member to join our salon! This is a dynamic role combining reception, dog bathing/prep, and salon maintenance to help keep our daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception & Customer Service: Greet clients and their pets with a warm attitude, answer phone calls, schedule grooming appointments, and process check-outs.
  • Bathing & Prep Work: Assist groomers by washing, drying, and brushing dogs of all breeds and sizes safely and gently.
  • Salon Cleanliness & Maintenance: Keep the salon clean, sanitary, and organized by sweeping hair, sanitizing tubs and tables, washing towels/laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for pets and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Love for animals and comfortable handling dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
  • Friendly, professional communication skills for interacting with pet owners.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, boarding facility, or grooming salon is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
