We are now hiring a Lead who are team players, versatile, and dependable!
Lead Job Summary
  • $25 hr
  • 6 am - 3 pm or can change
Qualifications
As a key member of the Operations Management team, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading, training, and overseeing maintenance technicians while ensuring all facility equipment and machinery operate at optimal performance levels throughout the entire facility, including freeze-dry operations, packaging, and meat processing areas at both the Denton and Muenster locations. This position will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure all maintenance processes follow safety standards and regulatory requirements. The Maintenance Supervisor will also collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to minimize downtime, extend equipment life, and implement maintenance strategies that support manufacturing efficiency and product quality goals across all operational areas.

Duties and Responsibilities
•Manage, lead, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance on daily work priorities, scheduling, preventive maintenance assignments, and emergency repairs.
• Create, maintain, and strictly adhere to preventive maintenance schedules for all production equipment across freeze-dry operations, packaging lines, meat processing areas, facility systems, and utilities to minimize downtime and extend equipment life at both Denton and Muenster facilities.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive system for organizing, inventorying, and maintaining all tools, parts, and maintenance supplies, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and accessibility.
• Establish and enforce tool check-out/check-in procedures to prevent loss and ensure tools are properly maintained and returned to designated storage locations.
• Manage maintenance inventory with a structured system, including spare parts, tools, and consumable supplies, ensuring critical components are always available, properly cataloged, and stored in designated areas.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and lead technicians
