ABOUT OUR AGENCY:I opened my agency in 2021 and currently lead a team of eight. Before becoming an agent with State Farm, I had a background in sales and hospitality, including working with PSA leads and handling AV setups for conferences. After relocating to the area, I eventually made the move into agency ownership and haven't looked back.
Outside of the office, I'm a big family person-married for 15 years with three boys (14, 12, and 9), all named after Dodgers legends. I'm a huge baseball fan, especially of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and I love music as well. Earlier in life, I toured with bands and traveled all over, which sparked my passion for collecting and exploring new places. These days, I enjoy traveling with my family and making the most of that time together.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:Randy Shoemaker - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
