MUST HAVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE
Job description

This is a Part-Time Position for a Security Guard who will need to fill in for Sick Calls or Vacation Coverage as needed. Guard would be notified of any coverage details at least 24+h prior to duty. Vacation Coverage will be communicated well in advance.

No minimum hours per week can be guaranteed.

To provide security support to the US Army Ordinance School, monitor and control entry and egress in support of training operations inside designated secured training areas. Other duties as assigned.

Monitor and control entry and egress in support of training operations inside designated secured training areas.

Ensure only allowable items are brought in and/or taken out of secured areas by authorized individuals only.

Maintain physical control over all entrances to the secured area, ensuring all personnel entering have required security clearance.

Maintain accurate logs of all personnel entering the secured areas; also maintain control and accountability over all items, documents, information technology and training equipment and/or software entering and leaving the secured areas. Ensure that only allowable items are carried in or removed from the secured area.

Provide directions to personnel entering the secured areas, preventing unauthorized persons from entering the areas.8h Shift Mon-Fri


Approx. Working Hours:
07:00 AM - 15:30 PM
09:00 AM - 17:30 PM

15:30 PM - 24:00 PM

Usually no Weekend or Holiday Shift. 

Requirements:
 
  • Possess skills/knowledge of performing office automation work that includes word processing, electronic mail, spreadsheets, presentations, and other personal computer applications
  • Possess Georgia Guard Card
  • Possess DOD Secret Clearance
  • Possess 3yrs experience directly related to requirements
  • Working knowledge of Army accountability for security equipment and emergency notification procedures
  • Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing
 
Benefits:
Guard Hourly Wage $16.20 per hour
PLUS: Health Stipend $4.57 per hour
