Description

Fusion MasTech Inc. (FMTI) is pursuing a new contract opportunity, and this position is contingent upon contract award. FMTI seeks a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) to perform as the Senior Network Engineer - Pacific - to provide network (i.e. local, wireless, and wide area network) sustainment and deployment support services to military hospitals and clinics located throughout the Pacific region. Provides regional leadership and advanced engineering support for DHA network operations across the Pacific region.ย 


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as regional technical lead and escalation point
  • Manage and resolve complex network issues
  • Support deployment, integration, and sustainment of network infrastructure
  • Coordinate with DHA Pacific Command and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with regional and enterprise standards
  • Develop technical documentation and best practices
  • Lead performance monitoring and optimization effortsย 

Requirements

Education & Experience:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree + 5 years relevant experience or 10 years equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience with:
    • Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
    • Network tools (SolarWinds, Ansible, ARMIS)
    • Enterprise LAN/WAN environmentsย 

Certifications:

  • IAM Level III (DoD 8570/8140 compliant)
  • CCNP (minimum)
  • CISSP (required)ย 

Security Clearance:

  • Candidates must have active Secret clearance ย 

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.):

  • Work Environment: Work is performed in Government facilities, primarily in Honolulu, HI.
  • Travel: Potential travel to military hospitals, clinics and remote sites located throughout the Pacific region.ย
