Location –San Antonio, TX (Onsite)

Job Type – C2C/W2

Job Description:

Minimum 6+ years of experience.
Perform Administration Activities including installation, upgrades, migrations, patch management, repository maintenance, user/group administration, and job monitoring.
Lead and support Data Migration initiatives involving legacy systems, data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and post-migration support.
Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL database troubleshooting, performance tuning, query optimization, and data analysis.
Experience in troubleshooting production issues through application log analysis, Documentum logs, database logs, and server logs, performing root cause analysis and resolution.

Strong understanding of Load Balancing concepts, high-availability architectures, reverse proxies, traffic routing, session persistence, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with cloud-native architecture principles and modern DevOps practices.
Experience leveraging AI-powered developer productivity tools such as Kiro, GitHub Copilot or similar tools for code generation and solution design.
Database Administration and Performance Management
Monitor database performance and availability.
Backup and Recovery manage failover and disaster recovery solutions.
Ensure business continuity, data protection, configure and maintain replication environments.
Work with cloud database services such as AWS RDS PostgreSQL or Azure PostgreSQL.
Execute and monitor DB2 utilities and perform SQL tuning and access path optimization.
